Mixing it up at Audiosapien recording studios.

If you have tracks you've recorded yourself at home or at another facility we are more than happy to help you get your mix sorted.

Most Artists don't have the controlled acoustic environment or extensive set of studio tools that we have at our disposal, so bringing in your music to have it properly mixed is a great idea. With our Midas analog mixing console, state of the art digital systems, great selection of high end classic outboard gear & over 200 plug in effects processors, we have all the tools to take your mix to the next level.

What you need to do before we get started

on your mix

.

Simply do a clean render for each track (remove all processing / plug ins) & send the audio & midi files to us for mixdown. The rendered audios files (stems) & midi should all have the same start times so that we can simply import them into our workstation with correct tempo, key & any other parameters for your song & start working on your mix. It is ok to render midi instruments to audio if you want to use the exact sounds from your project.

Audio files should be in .wav or .aif formats and at a minimum sample rate of 44.1khz. We do not work with compressed audio formats like Mp3’s as the compression process often degrades audio quality.

We do not accept projects & folders from your software of choice. There is simply no way to ensure that your session will transfer cleanly to our workstations even if the same software is being used. Stems of individual tracks with corresponding start times are preferable.

It sometimes helps if you can render a rough mix from your project so that we can match midi instrument sounds, effects etc with your original song ideas.
